Crafting Moʻolelo's (Stories)

Ihiihilauakea by Kea Peters of Kakou Collective. For the month of March, we have our monthly wallpaper featuring ʻIhiʻihilauākea. This plant is critically endangered but grows so well. We have some in our home and they’ve sprouted and flourished.

Kapa Kuiki, a unique form a Hawaiian quilting is a beloved tradition in Hawaiʻiʻs local culture with origins tracing back to the early 1800ʻs. This is our own Kapa Kuiki design incorporating three different plants in coloring sheet form.
