Meet Your Instructor
Dillyn is a lei maker, educator, and small business owner from Mānoa, Hawaiʻi. She holds a B.S. in Natural Resource and Environmental Management with a focus on Plant Ecology and Conservation, dedicating much of her studies and work to native plant conservation.
Her passion for native plants and lei making led her to start a lei garden at home in 2020, cultivating culturally significant plants to support her craft. The following year, she began teaching lei-making workshops, sharing what she has learned with her community.
This journey evolved into PALAI, her business dedicated to inspiring others to recognize the integral connections between native ecological health, cultural practices, and community well-being through creative endeavors.
