About the Design

Designed by Native Hawaiian wahine artist Kea Peters, the Live Laugh Love Lei Tee reimagines a familiar saying through a Hawaiʻi lens — reminding us that aloha lives in action, intention, and the art of making lei.

This design features pua kenikeni and pikake, two flowers that carry deep meaning for our ʻohana. The pua kenikeni is my husband and dad’s favorite flower, while pikake holds a special place for my sisters. Together, they reflect the everyday beauty of aloha — found in the laughter we share, the love we hold, and the time spent making lei with care.

At Kākou Collective, we believe lei is more than adornment — it’s an expression of connection and presence. This tee is a gentle reminder to live fully, laugh often, love deeply, and always make lei.
