FUN FACTS
DID YOU KNOW?
Every illustration at Kākou Collective springs from the creative heart of our founder, Kea Peters. As a Native Hawaiian artist and mother, her artistic journey is deeply rooted in continuous learning and the Hawaiian value of passing knowledge forward, creating a space where art and community flourish together.
WHY KĀKOU?
When we say "it's a Kākou Thing," we're expressing our belief that everything we create, teach, and share is a beautiful collaboration of community effort.
This mindset guides all we do, from our artwork to our workshops, reminding us to move with mindfulness and understanding that our creative ripples touch not just those beside us, but our entire community. It's about recognizing that when we create together, learn together, and grow together, we elevate everyone - even those we haven't met yet.
