What We’ve Been Up To
You may be wondering why we’ve had a limited selection of items in our shop for almost two months. Let’s talk about it!
Minimizing the items in our shop has given us the opportunity to dig through our warehouse and reorganize our products so that we’ll be better prepared for releases and events in the future. We created new SKUs to increase our sales efficiency. We took new product pictures. We also filled wholesale orders that we were unable to deliver during the busy holiday season.
The most exciting part of this process was that we found stock of previously retired items sitting in our warehouse! This discovery gave us the chance to reflect on how far we’ve come as a business over the last four years. It also allowed us to put together our lucky bags! Our lucky bags sold out in just two hours thanks to your continued support of our shop. Mahalo (thanks) to everyone who purchased lucky bags this year.
Please join us on our journey through this fifth year of Kākou Collective. We’re trying a few new things this year in hopes of aligning our products and practices with our long-term goals. Our first event this year is the MAMo Wearable Art Show where we will be a featured artist. Come and see what we’ve been working on at the Tapa Ballroom at the Hilton Hawaiian Village on February 18th! A hui hou. (Until next time.)
