SBA Young Entrepreneur of the Year
Kākou Collective's founder and illustrator, Kea Peters, is the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) Young Entrepreneur of the Year for the state of Hawai‘i!
According to Maui Now, the SBA Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award goes to individuals who have shown the likelihood of success during a minimum of three years of operation and ownership of a small business before reaching the age of 35 and demonstrates increasing sales and job opportunities. We are incredibly proud of Kea for the dedication she continues to show to her family, her art, and every part of Kākou Collective. We can't wait to see what's in store for her in the future.
