Aloha Kākou!
We know how amped the holiday season can get so we wanted to take a minute early on to let you know that we are planning on closing our shop on December 12 at 12PM until our Lucky Bag (Fukubukuro) drop on December 31.
Why are we doing this? Well, we have three generations working here at Kakou Collective and we need to safeguard our ‘reason for the season’ – which is Family. Our ‘ohana is everything to us! They are the reason behind Kakou Collective’s success and why we’re able to bring our beautiful mea to you throughout the rest of the year!
As a small business, (and as humans!!), we value the importance of taking some time during the holidays to reconnect with what is most important to us, and to focus on the non-consumer-based aspects of our lives. We encourage everyone to do the same! Get that shopping done early so you can take some time to enjoy the holidays with your loved ones.
But what about all the sweet mea you wanted to gift to your ‘ohana for the holidays?! Never fear, we gotchu! We have SO many fun surprises coming your way between now and the rest of the year and we can’t wait to share all about it. Also, we will have several in-person events that we’d love to see you at and of course we will have all the goods online as well.
