This washi was inspired by local lei stands, where strands of lei hang for customers to enjoy and purchase for various special occasions. We are excited to feature local favorite, Kupaloke. Kupaloke or Tuberose (Polianthes Tuberosa) was brought to Hawaiʻi from Mexico. Often sewn in single strands, then layered upon themselves, or paired with other flowers this local treasure is an intensely fragrant flower.
An original design by Kea Peters of Kākou Collective - our signature gold foil kupaloke washi tape.
This design was launched in 2020 as part of our Holiday Collection. We brought it back in a slightly different gold foil finish to set it apart from that exclusive roll.
Kupaloke Washi Nui (15mm x 10m)
